Getting Involved

There are many ways to get involved here at the School of Public Health. The Graduate Student Organization at the School of Public Health (GSO-SPH) coordinates activities such as community service, workshops, career advisement, and student representation on school governance committees. They also host a lot of social events off campus such as happy hours, students vs. staff kickball games, and bowling nights.

If you would like to volunteer your time with other SPH students, the GSO coordinates many weekly and monthly volunteer activities as well as participation in large events, such as the Breast Cancer Walk.

Many students also participate in research projects at the School of Public Health and with faculty throughout the Capitol Region.
